Willow made the trip to her new home today!!! It has been a LONG 7 months without her, but she got the best care and has an amazing vet and really cool technology working on her side. She will continue to rehab with me and our AMAZING trainer Bailey Fraser, who went with me to get her today and learn all the things.
We are so immensely thankful to all of the girls at Virginia Equine Rehabilitation & Performance Center and Stephanie Davis who is the best limping horse vet around. We are going to miss hanging out with you all on a regular basis but promise not to be strangers!
Thank you to everyone who supported us through this. I vow to every animal that I care for to my absolute best for them. Willow is the best pony and we plan to always do everything we can for her. It’s far tougher for me to have a sick or injured animal than it is a human who can use words. Not being able to see her daily was rough. Thank you to everyone that prayed for our pony. We feel it and it’s working!
